THE FULL BREATH

THE WORD

A full breath is a specific physical thing. It moves through the whole body — belly first, then ribs, then chest — in one unbroken wave. Nothing skipped. Nothing held back. The Full Breath is the philosophy that shapes all of Sean's work — eight principles that describe what that same movement looks like as a way of living. What each session is moving toward. What becomes possible when nothing is held. You don't need to know this before you book. But if you want to understand what's underneath the work, this is where to look.

THE EIGHT PRINCIPLES

01

ARRIVE

The Body First

Before technique, before anything — there is simply this: noticing what is actually here. Not what should be here. Not what you'd like to be here. What is. The body is the starting point, not the afterthought. Everything that follows depends on this first honest act of landing.

02

Breathe

The Central Instrument

The breath as the central instrument. Three streams feed this work — Oxygen Advantage® science for functional change, Transformational Breath® for the full-body conscious connected sessions, and Wim Hof Method® for physical resilience. One tool expressed three ways. The most portable, most honest, most available thing you have. It has been running without your attention. This is where that changes.

03

OPEN

Without the Managed Version

A full breath does not protect, contract, or edit what it finds. This same movement turns inward: meeting yourself without performance or the managed version shown to the world. Not softness for its own sake, but necessity. You cannot fully show up for others while bracing against yourself. The honesty required is simple and undefended—a clear look at what is here, and a willingness to remain with it.

04

Choose

More Agency Than Your Story Allows.

The moment between stimulus and response. Responsibility is not blame — it is the recognition that you have more agency than your story has told you. The breath is where this becomes physical and immediate: the decision to take the next inhale on purpose rather than out of habit. What you do with that decision, across every area of your life, is the whole of this principle.

05

BUILD

Capacity, Not Repair.

Building capacity, not fixing problems. What has been stored in the body has somewhere to go — the breath is one of the most direct routes to completing what the mind couldn't process. Not a dramatic event. A gradual, measurable shift in what the body defaults to under pressure. The work is not repair. It is expansion.

06

Create

Where You Are Headed.

The breath opens capacity. What you do with it is the question. Where are you headed? What are you building toward? Sessions aren't only about what's breaking — they're about what becomes possible when it stops. Direction matters. What you want to build, and whether you're moving toward it or away from it, is always part of the conversation.

07

CONNECT

Presence as a State.

Presence is not a personality trait. It is a state. When the system is settled — when the breath is full — the quality of contact with other people changes. Not as a strategy. As a natural consequence of no longer being defended. What becomes possible in the room, in the relationship, in the team, when you are actually there rather than managing your way through it.

08

PLAY

Laughter and Truth.

Laughter and truth were never separate. This is the full exhale — the end of the arc, and the beginning of the next one. The person who can go deep and not take themselves too seriously. The work earns this. You don't perform it. Osho called it Zorba the Buddha — the full human being who dances and sits in silence in the same afternoon. The breath, when it's really full, has this quality. So does a session that went somewhere real.

The Full Breath Lives in Every Session.

The Full Breath is the backbone of the longer commitment work — especially the Breathe Here Now Diamond. But every Breathe Alive session moves through at least one of these principles. It doesn't need to be named for it to be working.
